Subarus, Ferraris, and Audis OH MY

Drove the quintessential family/northeasternstate/samesexcouple/awesome car on a road trip from San Diego back to the Bayrea this weekend. A pretty standard Subaru Outback wagon, it trucked along at 85 and got close to 30 mpg. Frickin awesome. More grunt than my mom's old GL, it was able to truck up the mountains too. Really, if I were to have a reliable, useful if a little boring car, it would be that. Now, hook me up with a Legacy GT wagon and we may be in business with some fun. Some STI bits and I'm in heaven.

Anyways, in a quick stop in Newport beach saw two silver Ferrari Maranellos, both berlinetta. The first was 550 I think but the second was the 575M. Still in my top 5 Ferraris ever, just so classy and gorgeous. I think one should be in the stable.

At a food stop, I bought an R8 matchbox car that now keeps me company at my desk at work. I like it.
